Alongside timber, stone is the oldest construction material known to man. Its durability and monolithic elegance have provided protection and modelled landscapes worldwide for many generations.

Unsurpassed in quality, Caparol CapaSTONE replicates the timeless beauty and substance of solid stone. Available in a wealth of shapes, colours and textures, there are very few aspirations, interior designs or details that cannot be achieved.

However the most compelling advantage of Caparol CapaSTONE is to be found in its ability to overcome stones greatest disadvantage – its’ weight.

At our capaSTONE processing plant, we have the technology to cut and calibrate natural stone to thicknesses as low as 5mm in panels as large as 3m x 1.2m. These very fine stones are then backed with a carbon reinforced PU resin compound. The resulting capaSTONE board is highly resistant to cracking and deflection but ultra light.

The lightweight nature of the panels (approx 15kg/M2) means unique large format boards to be invisibly fixed to gypsum plasterboards, drylining systems or stud walling giving a seamless stone finish to your interior walls or lift linings.
